Maintenance Fitter / Operator – Immediate Opportunity

Dungannon
£30,000 – £40,000 DOE (potential to go higher for the right candidate)
Full-time | Permanent | 4 Day Working Week

Gen Tech Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing company to recruit a Maintenance Fitter / Operator for their state-of-the-art woodworking facility in Dungannon.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and operating machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production processes, while minimising downtime and supporting overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Operate plant machinery safely and efficiently
• Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs
• Assist with installation and upgrades of equipment
• Maintain maintenance records
• Work closely with production teams
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
• Support training of team members where required

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in mechanical maintenance or similar role
• Strong fault-finding ability
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Physically fit with a hands-on approach
• Good attention to detail
• Proactive attitude to safety and improvement

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday
• 6:30am – 5:00pm
• 4-day working week
